There are times when you just need something sweet..something to wake up your taste buds… and my favourite during such times is this quick vegan chocolate mousse recipe with avocado and a twist of expresso. It is like a perfect shot of coffee to wake you up and chocolate to satisfy your sweet tooth.
And you know what.. when you eat nutritionally dense food, you don’t really need to eat much quantity of it. You feel satiated much faster with less quantity. So 1 avocado can easily make the dessert for 2 servings.. so you don’t end up eating too much sugar or any of that unwanted stuff…If you haven’t tried it as yet. Do give it a try. Remember the only catch is to cut open a ripe avocado.. and then simply whizz up these ingredients and garnish with some Vegan chocolate chips.
Taste it for yourself and if you want more of a coffee touch, then add more of it.. if you like it to be more chocolaty then add a bit more of that.. Have fun with it. 🙂 Chill for an hour and eat or just enjoy simply as is… No need of a recipe really! 🙂

Vegan Chocolate Mousse Recipe with Avocado and Espresso :
1 ripe avocado, deseeded,
1 tsp espresso or any of your favourite coffee powder,
1 and 1/2 tsp chocolate powder,
2 tsp maple syrup,
Vegan Chocolate chips for garnish (optional)
Method : Combine all the above ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth. Chill for an hour and enjoy!
